About DRYVENT 150 Kitchen Fan
The DRYVENT 100 & 150 fans are a multifunctional auto controlled high specification, dehumidifying fan designed for the particularly demanding condensation control requirements of kitchen, utility, or similar environments. As well as a multifunctional fan operated by an app if required, this includes speed control on both trickle and high level extract. This fan works best when used as part of a cross-flow ventilation system with other Vapourflow units.
These units are effective for damp conditions, the basic operational setting runs continually, extracting at low speed to remove moisture laden air at source before it can condense. This condensation control is achieved through the inclusion of an internal, automatic Autostat unit. When the built-in Autostat detects the humidity level rising above acceptable levels the fan triggers into high speed delivering powerful performance when it is needed most. Control the Autostat unit by a remote switch or via the bluetooth app.

General Notes on Fan Installations
The fan position should be as far as practical from the main source of air replacement. This is to avoid short-circuiting of the airflow. The fan can be placed on a wall or ceiling. The DRYVENT 150 fans have a 150 mm spigot to fit into a circular telescopic wall sleeve. The ducting hole through the wall requires a minimum of a 5-degree downward slope to the outside.
The fan should be located at a high level close to the moisture source. If the room/ dwelling contains a fuel burning device such as a gas boiler with a non-balanced flue, it is essential that there is enough replacement air to prevent fumes being drawn down the flue where the fan is extracting.

The Dryvent 150 is supplied with an internal Autostat, wall sleeve, external grille and a removable grease filter.
General Maintenance
VapourFlow products are designed with longevity in mind, for this, they need to be cleaned and maintained on a regular basis.
It is advised that every 6-12 months the following should be done:
- Wipe the chassis and grilles with a damp cloth to remove any detritus
- Hoover the grilles to remove any large dust particles that may have been formed
- Remove and clean the filter on the unit
